Happy Monday!!! I have been wanting to do the white nail polish look for a while which inspired today's manicure. I used Wet N Wild Wild Shine polish in French White Creme as the base. This polish was cheap.....99 cents so I wasn't sure how well it would apply. It actually applied decently thick and I only needed 2 coats for good coverage. Then I applied another one of my new indie polishes over top. This one is called Strawberry and Strings and is made by Daring Digits. It's an awesome matte glitter polish....black bars, and large and small bubble gum pink dots. You can find her Etsy store here: Daring Digits. Here are the polishes:

Here is 2 coats of white and 2 coats of Strawberry and Strings. I did have to place the glitter a bit to get the effect I wanted. Also topped with 2 coats of Seche Vite:

I think this turned out fantastic!! I have already gotten quite a few compliments on it!
Also, I was able to score 2 polishes from Llarowe from the Pretty and Polished line...Sand Art and Jawbreaker. I can't wait to get them! Yay!
I love this combo, from a distance it looks like a bunch of cherry blossoms trees :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat job! Love this. It reminds me a little bit of Pretty & Polished-Punk'd Up Betty!
