China Glaze Glitz Bitz 'n Pieces Collection

Happy Wednesday!!! I have some swatched today for you from the new China Glaze Glitz Bitz 'n Pieces Collection. I haven't seen these available in any stores yet but I was able to order them from Head2Toe Beauty which always seems to have new stuff out early. Of course what drew me in to these fabulous polishes was the black glitter in all of them! There are 6 polishes in the collection:

First up is Scattered & Tattered. This is red and black glitter in a clear base. This is one coat over Sally Hansen Bubblegum Pink. I was kind of going for a valentine's day look with this one. Not too bad of a color combo.

Next, is Razzle Me, Dazzle Me. This is a super light pink and black in a clear base. Most of the time it looked like a copper color to me though. Could have just been my base color, not sure. This is one coat over Sinful Colors Slate. This one is probably my least favorite in the collection.
Then we have Mosaic Madness which is probably my favorite of the collection! This is a royal blue and black glitter in a clear base. Fun! This is one coat over Sally Hansen Blue-Away. Love love love!
Next is Graffiti Glitter which is an emerald green and black with a clear base. This is another of my favorites! This is probably be my st. pat's day mani! This is one coat over China Glaze I'm With The Lifeguard.
Bling It On is purple and black glitter in a clear base. It's actually more of a blue-ish color I think. I think this one would look fun over a lot of different colors. Yellow, green, pink, etc. I did one coat over China Glaze Sun-Kissed.
And last in the collection is Glitz 'N Pieces. This one is silver and black glitter in a clear base. Once again, this one would go over a lot of colors. This one was also the thickest to apply.  This is one coat over China Glaze Pool Party.
Overall I think this collection is awesome!! I mean, who doesn't like black glitter? I believe these are expected to land in stores like Sally's in February so keep your eyes peeled for them!

Hare Polish - Bisbee

Hi everyone!! Happy Monday!! Today on the blog I have a hard-to-find polish called Bisbee. This is made by Hare Polish. I was able to snag a bottle at one of Llarowe's restocks after sitting there repeatly refreshing the page haha. You can check it out on the Llarowe site HERE.  Or you can go to the Hare Polish Etsy store HERE. Now on to the polish!!!

Bisbee is a teal/turquoise jelly polish packed with chunky gold glitter. She was named after the copper/turquoise mines in Bisbee, Arizona. Here is a bottle shot:

This polish was a bit thin at first but built up very nicely with 3 coats. I did have to use glitter food from Nail Pattern Boldness over this since a few of the glitters were sticking up. Then a top coat of Seche. But the end effect.......GORGEOUS.

Soooooo pretty! And such an interesting color combo!! This was my first Hare Polish to swatch but I did get 3 other and can't wait to try them!!

Pretty & Polished - "Save the Dauphine" Collection

Hi all!!! I know it's been a while since I have posted but you know how things are around the holidays! So hectic!!First my husband was sick on Christmas and I have been battling a head cold ever since. Ugh. Anyhow, I recently had a chance to review a new collection from Chels over at Pretty & Polished. This is scheduled to be released for sale mid-January. It's called the "Save The Dauphine" (aka Marie Antoniette) collection. There are 4 polishes in the collection:

First up I have Hameau which was the name of a cottage built for Marie Antoinette, and this polish was meant to resemble the cottage and the flowers surrounding it. This is a milky based polish with green and blueish-purple glitters. Gorgeous! This is 3 coats of Hameau with a top coat of Seche.

Application was flawless. No streaks or unevenness. This one is probably my favorite of the collection!

Next we have Let Them Eat Cake which is another milky based polish. Let Them Eat Cake is the rumored comment said by Marie Antoinette during a bread shortage in 1775 and 1788. And this polish sure resembles yummy cake! This polish has lots of fun glitters in it, yellow, orange, pink and white. Delicious! This was 3 coats with a top coat of Seche.

Gosh I have such a weakness for white based polishes. Love this one too! Once again, application was perfectly smooth. No fishing for glitter.

Third we have Louis Louis which was made to represent King Louis XVI of France. This is a gorgeous gold polish with lots of red and blue glitter. Very royal looking. This is 2 coats with a Seche top coat.

No fishing for glitter here either. Smooth application and was pretty opaque in just 2 coats!

Last up is The Diamond Necklace Affair. The Diamond Necklace Affair was an incident that placed blame on Marie Antoinette in a crime against the Crown Jewelers.  This one is just sooooooooo pretty in the bottle. I think this polish is best as a layering polish, although you could wear it alone. I couldn't decide what it would look the best over so I went with 4 different polishes.
Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Revlon Minted, China Glaze Towel Boy Toy, and China Glaze Blue Year's Eve. And of course, it looked good over all of them! This was one coat of The Diamond Necklace Affair over 2 coats of each base and topped with Seche.

So pretty and iridescent!!! I can't even choose which color I like it over the best!

These polishes will be out January 16 in The Pretty & Polished Store. Also go check out her facebook page HERE!

So festive and cute! This one is a white crelly polish with round red, green and gold glitters in it. There are also some tiny multicolored glitters thrown in there too. It applied really smoothly and evenly. This is 3 coats on it's own.

I wore this to my husband's family's x-mas party last weekend and all of the girls kept checking my nails out!! And I stopped in the liqour store and the cashier said it reminded her of christmas cookies! This one is also a limited edition polish only available until christmas!  Check out her Etsy store HERE and also her FB page HERE.
