Ninja Polish - Corny Candy

Today I have another fun Halloween polish for you!! I got this one from Ninja Polish and it's part of their 2012 Halloween Collection. It's called Corny Candy and it's fabulous!
This is a jelly neon yellow based polish with tiny yellow and orange glitter and medium white square glitter.

For this one, I started with a base coat of China Glaze Sun Kissed. I just put down one coat.
Then I used 2 coats of Corny Candy on top of that. So fun! And so bright!

And as a bonus...it's also glow in the dark and blacklight responsive!!! Unfortunately these were the best photos I could get. But you get the idea. It's much cooler in real life, trust me.

Boy, i'm glad I bought this one! I love it! I also got Howling Blue Moon...i'll be trying that one next!  You can buy this polish on the Ninja Polish site HERE and also go check out their facebook page HERE!

My birthday nails/Go pink Wednesday!

Today is my birthday! Yay! Another year older! And wiser...I think. HAHA. And to celebrate today I decided to do a fun mani and also go along with the go pink wednesday theme! For this mani I used Sally Hansen Bubblegum Pink for the base and Sinful Colors Snow Me White for the dots. I just used a simple dotting tool to do the dots. And for celebration purposes, I decided to do an accent nail using Lush Lacquer Birthday Cake! Fun fun fun!

Shown in the pics are 2 coats of Bubblegum Pink base coat and also 2 coats of the Snow Me White was used as a base under the 2 coats of Birthday Cake.

I haven't used my dotting tools too much so I think I did a decent job! And I have gotten a ton of compliments on this one! :)

Jindie Nails - Neonderthal

Well, after a nice relaxing weekend....it's Monday. And on top of that, I had a root canal this morning. What joy. At least I got a lot of swatching done this weekend! Let's get to it! First up is another polish from Jindie Nails! This one is called Neonderthal. It's another fun matte glitter polish from her Megapixels collection. The glitter colors in this one are white, blue, green and purple. Cute! Since it had neon glitter in it I decided to go with a neon base color. I went with China Glaze Beach Cruise-R.
This polish applied very smoothly and was very covering with just one coat! I just did one thick coat because I wanted to still be able to see the base color.

Then for fun, after I wore this polish for a day I switched to a matte top coat! Wonderful!!

This polish was soooooooooooo fun!! Especially with the bright pink underneath! Love this combo!! You can purchase this polish at Jen's Etsy shop HERE and also go like her facebook page HERE and check her out on instagram @jindienails.

Jindie Nails - Rose Among Thorns

Ahhhhhh....friday is finally here and i'm ready for the weekend! My birthday happens to be next week so I have all kinds of coupons for free stuff in my email. Tonight...free dinner at Houlihan's. Whoo hoo!  Anyhow...off to today's post. I've got another wonderful polish from Jen over at Jindie Nails. And it's a white one which I love! This one is called Rose Among Thorns. I love this one because it's so unique!

This is a white based polish with hex, bar, and square glitters in various sizes, in pink, light green, blue and black. What a beautiful combo of colors! I used 2 coats of Rose Among Thorns over 1 thick coat of Sinful Colors Snow Me White. It applied smoothly and the only glitter I had to dig for was the large black squares cause I really wanted those on my nails. :)

Man is this polish awesome. I can't stop looking at it. Jen did it again! You can buy her polish in her Etsy shop HERE and like her facebook page HERE. Also follow her posts on instagram @jindienails.

Jindie Nails - Soul Surfing

I swear I am addicted to the polishes over at Jindie Nails! Seriously.....I haven't tried one that I didn't like! This one is a GORGEOUS mix of colors! It's called Soul Surfing and it's a clear base polish with pale green, teal and white matte hexes, and also small sparkly green and teal glitter.

I couldn't figure out which color I wanted to put this over so I tried a few! From left to right......Sally Hansen - Black Out,  Sinful Colors - Rise and Shine, and China Glaze - Blue Year's Eve.
All photos are 2 coats of base color plus 2 coats of Soul Surfing then a top coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food. The pinky nail is 3 coats of Soul Surfing by itself.

Gosh!! It looks good with any color!!! This was also a smooth application. No fishing at all. Tons of glitter came out on the brush every time. Then I decided that I wanted to wear this for a few days and I decided to wear it over the black. Finished it with a top coat of Seche Vite for extra shine.

Wore it for one day then wanted to go matte.......love the matte look but as you can see the Seche Vite cause major shrinkage. Ahh well....looks like i'll just have to paint my nails again tonight. What a shame :)
Overall, I love the look of this polish!!!! The color scheme is magnificent! Jindie Nails is pretty much my favorite indie polish brand these days! Go buy this polish in her etsy shop HERE and like her facebook page HERE. She also posts a lot of polish pics to instagram so if you have it then follow her @jindienails!

Jindie Nails Christmas Polish post!!!

I'm really excited about these colors! My friend Jen over at Jindie Nails sent me 2 brand new Christmas polishes to try out before they are released for sale!! I feel so honored! :)  You can buy her polishes on Etsy HERE and go like her facebook page HERE. Also follow her on Instagram @jindienails. The first one I have to show you today is called Santa Claws. This polish is a clear base with small red, white and black square glitter and also some medium green square glitter.
I layered 2 coats of Santa Claws over 1 coat of Sally Hansen Jumpin' Jade. Then 1 coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food on top.

So festive!!! I love this combo! I'm sure I will be wearing this a lot in the month of December!!  The other polish I have to show you is called Candy Cane. This is a creamy white based polish with tiny red and green glitter, and various sizes of larger red hex glitter.

For these photos I used 2 coats of Candy Cane over 1 thick coat of Sinful Colors Snow Me White. Also with a top coat of Glitter Food.

Wheeeeeee!!! Love white polishes! This polish applied smoothly with no placing of glitter. Fabulous job Jen!
